ThrowBack Thursday – Genevieve Magazine Covers 2016
It was a year of diversity on our magazine covers and we are throwing back to every one of them.
Our Anniversary month as well as the month of love, VALENTINE featured three heartthrobs; The dashing Iconic Actor Richard Mofe -Damijo who is redefining growing older, TIMI DAKOLO THE VOICE who keeps churning out soulful songs and IK Osakioduwa the witty and versatile broadcaster.
It was dedicated to Mothers Day as well as the International Women’s day. In our March issue we celebrated women for their tenacity and roles as game changers and influencers, we featured 7 members of the executive council of WIMBIZ and 1 Executive director.
We featured Nollywood Actress, Monalisa Chinda as she shared finding love again after her very public divorce.
New mum, Osas Ajibade, was our cover girl as we exclusively broke the news of her pregnancy in June
The new golden girls, Actress/TV personality Sika Osei, Actress Adesua Etomi, Singer/Rapper Mo’Cheddah and Actress Beverly Naya were featured on our July 2016 cover.
Rachel Funmilola Garton, better known as Lola Rae, music artiste and fashion It Girl graced the September Issue.
Our October cover was Abiola Segun Williams who plays TITI K, Shalewa’s mum in TINSEL. She opened up for the first time on her battle with Scleroderma, an auto- immune rheumatic disease that affects the skin and some organs of the body.
November 2016 also our “Bodifidence” edition featured multiple award-winning actress and fitness buff, Kate Henshaw.
We ended the year with our bridal issue featuring Nollywood Actress Yvonne Jegede.
